Welcome to my ENG 315 Writing Portfolio
This is a digital portfolio where all of my personal writing work from one semester of my undergrad at Central Michigan University transpire. I have been working on my personal growth as a writer as well as learning and understanding how to teach writing effectively in the classroom. I have studied the techniques of many different authors such as Katie Wood Ray, Georgia Heard, Regie Routman and many more. I have also spent the semester in a Kindergarten classroom, many pieces of my writing reflect my experiences from teaching and understanding the dynamics that go into teaching writing for that specific age group.
The goal of this portfolio is to show and express the work and dedication I have put into this semester and figuring out the writing process. I hope that future employers and colleagues will be able to look at this portfolio to get a sense of my writing strengths and weaknesses. This is all in hopes that we can collaborate to give our students the best writing experience possible. I also hope this portfolio can help my future self as a future educator to be able to look back and remember the tools and resources that were used for my own personal learning.
